I want to clean my basement floor, get rid of the unpleasant smell that it now has and prevent my dog from using the basement as her toilet.
The basement floor previously had peel and stick tiles but these were removed by the previous owner. The end result is that the floor now has a layer of tar over it.
I have read a few other Yahoo! Answers to this sort of question and as a result have started to steam clean the floor. Another answer suggested that I use a "biological washing powder". However none of this has been very successful and I need a better and more permanent solution to the problem.
Is anyone able to provide an answer?
